KOL network: 10.9M+ reach
How did you build a KOL network with 10.9M+ reach?
Over almost three years at Radarblock, I built and managed relationships with 100+ KOLs with a combined reach exceeding 10.9M followers. The approach was never transactional — I focused on giving KOLs genuine alpha, early access to projects, and meaningful collaboration opportunities. For Linea (ConsenSys), we crafted KOL narratives for the DeGame festival that reached 850K+ participants. For Polygon (AggLayer), we ran an educational creator grants program that generated 1M+ impressions through creator-led content. Each campaign was tailored to the KOL's niche, audience quality, and engagement authenticity.
How do you manage KOL relationships effectively?
I segment by three things: niche expertise, audience quality (not just size), and engagement authenticity. I built a proprietary tracking system at Good Entry that measured cost per value and cross-engagement rates — ran a 4M+ impression campaign over two quarters across 20 KOLs with 165% increase in impressions, 95.2% increase in profile clicks, and 88.8% follower growth. That became the foundation for how I evaluate every KOL partnership. The best KOL programs are built on alignment, not just reach. When a KOL actually understands the protocol and believes in it, the content performs 3-5x better than a generic paid post. I also track smart-follower growth (like we did for Covalent — grew their smart-follower base to 924 high-signal accounts) as a quality signal beyond vanity impressions.
